Q.What is the check-in/check-out time?

Check-in is at 3:00 PM, check-out is at 10:00 AM.

Q.Is accommodation available for only one person?

A.

One-person travelers are also welcome to visit. We also have special package offer for one-person travelers.

Q.Do you accept credit cards?

A.

We accept VISA, JCB, MASTER, AMEX, UFJ NICOS and other.

Q.Do you have a parking lot?

A.

Yes, we do.
For standard-sized car 400 JPY, motorcycle 100 JPY, micro bus 800 JPY. (*per night)

Q.Can I send baggage ahead of arrival?

A.

Yes, we will keep it until your arrival. Please write the following on the express courier service slip.

1. Name of the guest with reservation

2. Date of arrival. Please bring the slip copy when arriving.

Q.Please introduce the cancellation policy.

A.

8 to 14 days before check-in: 10% of the accommodation fee
2 to 7 days before check-in: 30% of the accommodation fee
Day prior: 50% of the accommodation fee
Cancellation on the day of check-in or no show: 100% of the accommodation fee

Q.Can I bring my pet with me?

A.

Please refrain from staying with your pet. When accompanied by your dog, please stay at our sister hotel Tsuruga Lake Akan Lodge Turano.

Q.Do you provide any activities?

A.

Please visit the Tsuruga Adventure Base SIRI activity counter offering activities for superb experience of Lake Akan in all seasons at the ground floor of our sister hotel Lake Akan Tsuruga Wings.
Please see here for details.

Q.Is it possible to use express courier service?

A.

Yes, it is available. Payable boxes for sending are also available.

Q.Is it possible to keep the luggage at the hotel after check-out?

A.

Yes, please ask at the front desk.

All the rooms are non-smoking from April 2020. (Including electronic cigarettes and heated tobacco products)

Q.Is Lake Akan visible from the hotel room?

Rooms have TV, refrigerator, hairdryer, etc.

Q.What kind of amenities are included in the room?

Yukata, bath towel, face towel, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toothbrush, etc.

Q.Is there anything available for rent?

A.

It is possible to rent a humidifier, aroma pot and similar. As other, rentable equipment for workation we provide external monitor display (HDMI cable), microphone for teleconference, speakers, various lights, camera, lap desk with cushion, extension cables, USB hub, etc. (Payable: 1,650 JPY/full set)

Hana Buffet Harmony, the buffet restaurant on the ground floor offers delicious buffet menus for dinner and breakfast.

Q.Is it possible to eat in the room?

A.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to eat in the room.

Q.Is it allowed to smoke in the restaurant?

A.

Hana Buffet Harmony, the buffet restaurant on the ground floor is non-smoking.

Q.Does the hotel have communal baths?

A.

Please visit the the grand onsen bath on the second floor with thermal water flowing directly from the spring source.

Q.What are the operating hours of the grand baths?

A.

Grand baths operate from 3 PM to next morning at 9:30.

Q.Does the thermal water flow directly from the spring source?

A.

Yes, our facility uses the natural thermal water flowing directly from the spring source. Thermal water quality is simple hot spring.

Q.Are there towels available at the grand baths?

A.

Towels are not available at the grand baths, so please bring the bath and face towels from your room.

Q.Is there a sauna?

A.

Open from 3 PM to 10 PM.

Q.Is bathing prohibited in case of any diseases?

A.

Please refrain from bathing when having the following conditions.
Acute disease (in case of fever), active tuberculosis, malignant tumor, serious cardiac disease, respiratory and renal insufficiency, hemorrhagic disease, serious anemia, pregnancy (particularly early and late-stages)

Q.I have tattoos (including stickers) and I was wondering if I may enter the grand baths?

A.

Guests with tattoos (including stickers) are kindly requested to refrain from entering the grand baths. We thank you for your understanding.

Q.Is it also possible to use the grand baths at Akan Yuku No Sato Tsuruga and Akanko Tsuruga Wings?

A.

Yes, it is possible. Shuttle buses between HANAYUUKA, Akan Yuku No Sato Tsuruga and Akanko Tsuruga Wings are available between 3 PM to 12 AM. Please contact the reception to redeem the offer.

Q.Is a private bath available?

A.

Unfortunately, we do not have private baths at our hotel. Please visit the family baths Hanatachibana no Yu at our sister hotel Akan Yuku No Sato Tsuruga. (Reservation required)

Q.Do you have one-day bathing packages?

A.

Unfortunately, day spa is not unavailable. Non-staying guests who wish to use the baths during the day are welcome to visit our sister hotels Akan Yuku No Sato Tsuruga and Akanko Tsuruga Wings.

Q.Is there a coin laundry at the hotel?

A.

Unfortunately, we do not have a coin laundry at our hotel. Please use the coin laundry at our sister hotel Akanko Tsuruga Wings. We also provide a shuttle, so please inquire with the front desk.

Q.Are there any stores?

A.

There is s souvenir shop Presents From the Heart on the ground floor.

Q.Are there vending machines?

A.

There are vending machines selling soft drinks and alcoholic beverages on the second floor.

Q.Does a reservation for the rent-the-dress-photo shoot need to be made in advance?

A.

Yes, reservation is required for the rent-the-dress-photo shoot service. (Shooting hours: 4 PM to 8 PM)

Q.Please tell me about the internet environment.

A.

Internet is available in the rooms and at the lobby, but since this is a Wi-Fi internet connection, there might be some disruptions depending on the connection status.

Q.Is there a shuttle bus service from the station and airport?

Yes. Please ask the front desk staff.

Q.Is there a hospital nearby?

A.

Akankohan Medical Center is a 5 minute drive away. At night and during the holidays, night emergency service is available within Kushiro City, hour and a half away by car.

Q.Are there any convenience stores in the area?

A.

Lawson is about a 3 minute walk away.

Q.Is there a bank or an ATM nearby?

A.

Post office and Kushiro Shinkin Bank ATMs, as well as the one inside the convenience store, are all only about a 5 minute walk away.
